Crisis Comes Not To Destroy but To Revive Us
On February 11 2010 an unusual service was held in the central church. As previously announced, seminars on the topic "How to overcome a crisis?" were scheduled for the period from 8 to 11 February. However, the fourth day of the teaching coincided with pastor Bose Adelaja’s birthday, and, of course, the evening service could not hold without gifts, greetings and birthday wishes for the celebrant.
In the evening of 11th February, songs, greetings from the spiritual council as well as applauses from a large “God’s Embassy” family resounded for the hero of the festival. But the highlight of this festive mini-program was a touching congratulation from pastor Sunday Adelaja.
"Thank God for you! Princess, I love you so much! You will always be the one for me, the most beautiful and unique" - once again pastor Sunday declared his love for pastor Bose.
In turn, the celebrant thanked God for her life, for His mercy, kindness, leadership, and all of those who took part in formation of her as a person, wife, mother, woman and pastor.
Then, pastor Sunday went on to complete a series of seminars on how to overcome a crisis. The fourth day was devoted to the topic: "How to determine the time for change and how to behave during this period?".
Everyone who came to the ministry was able to get answers to all their questions.
How do we know that it is time to change? What are the signs of this?
- the arrival of crisis as it is;
- your occupation does not give you pleasure, satisfaction or happiness anymore;
- loss or decrease in efficiency in your work;
- irritation towards those people who were once a source of inspiration and encouragement;
- your occupation (work, service) has become common and routine for you;
- nothing you do seems right
If you determine that the time to change has come for you after all, you need to know how to behave in this period. One has:

- to realize that a crisis it is a temporary phenomenon (2 Corinthians 4:18);
-to begin to acquire new knowledge, skills, take some courses, seminars, trainings;
- to remember that the crisis has not come to destroy you, but to revive you, improve and move you forward (1 Corinthians 10:13);
- to understand that you are not the first to face difficult circumstances;
- to seek the face of God - He wants to bring you closer to Himself (find a quiet place with Him to get the answer);
- to review one’s priorities and get rid of the distractive factors;
- to adapt to the emerged circumstances.
We wish you lots of victories and achievements! God stand by your side!
