The Embassy of God church in Vishnevoye town, Kiev
The Embassy of God church in Vishnevoye was founded by pastor Sergey Pushnuy in 2002. From the very beginning the church was an instrument of God for society’s transformation. The true mission, goal and authority of church are not in separating from this world, but in impacting it by spreading the principles of the Kingdom of God.
Within the time of its existence over 700 people have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. At present the church numbers more than 150 members. God has completely changed lives of these people, their understanding of God, inspired them to trust Him and His supernatural signs and wonders. He has raised, equipped and taught them to be the carriers of God’s presence in order to establish His values in all countries and cities conquering all spheres of the society to the principles of the Kingdom of God.
The Embassy of God church in Vishnevoye is the church that has challenged public godless standards and false attributes of success having taken a stand as a social institution with one only goal: to introduce eternal principles of spiritual freedom, success, integrity, and good works into the society.
In order to achieve this objective, several movements were set up. They embrace different strata of society not only in cities, but the whole of Ukraine.
The movement for children and teenagers is represented by a children social organization”Kapitoshka” (in English, “Droplet”),and the club for teenagers “LIGHT”.
The main goal for the leaders of this movement is to make children happy helping every one of them reveal their gifts and talents, feel protected, show prospects and opportunities so they would see themselves as history makers.
Working with families
This movement includes:
- the social organization “From heart to heart” Weekly Family Club
- weekly activities “Show your love in action”
- and monthly concert programs and entertaining street activities for citizens of the town.
Leaders of the movement set up the following goals: raising the authority and level of influence of the church through social work, implanting high moral values in family relationship, drawing attention of state bodies, high-profile people and society on the whole to the institute of family.
Working with young people
The aim is to establish principles of the Kingdom of God by means of educational work among teenagers and young people, formation of their life values, encouragement to an independent and conscious choice of their life attitude.
The social organization “The territory of life” Youth Center organizes leisure, spiritual and physical development of young people and their creative abilities, promotes healthy lifestyle, and permanent upbringing of a developed personality.
Sport movement
The goal of this direction is to raise not only good sportsmen, but successful and happy people. This is not a secret that soccer takes the leading place in sport life of many countries. Moreover, team’s achievements create a positive image of a city and whole state in the world arena.
The soccer club “Vishnevoye” is a member of the Kiev indoor soccer federation and Ukrainian indoor soccer federation. This club has participated in competitions for Ukrainian cup and in international soccer tournaments.
During the first year the team enrolled in Kiev’s Federation of soccer, visited foreign countries, and became the silver prize-winner and the champion of the region.
The movement of rehabilitation centers
The main goal of this movement is to restore Ukrainian villages to life bringing salvation and prosperity even to the most distant ones.
At present branches for men and women have been opened in Poltavskaya, Cherkasskaya and Zhitomirskaya regions.
The chaplains’ movement
This is a large-scale transformation of the spiritual atmosphere in prisons and colonies. Everything that is beyond judicial organs’ power is accessible to Almighty God, Who gives a new name, character, and destiny.
Working selflessly chaplains organizer praying teams, home groups, rehabilitation centers all over the country. They actively use adaptation and socialization programs for released prisoners.
Working with youth in the club sphere
The aim of the direction is to implant and establish the principles of the Kingdom of God among young people and people connected with the club sphere through disc-jockeys, who mix musical compositions, producing music, arrange different events and open airs, and performances in night clubs, festivals, contests, and parades. Thus, positively impacting people of this sphere and providing an appropriate alternative of leisure for Christian youth.
In order to achieve this goal we have opened a DJ school in 2007. Students of the school perform in numerous clubs of Ukraine and outside of the country, organize club parties, and lead active producing activities.
After 7 years of experience we can say with confidence that the Embassy of God church in Vishnevoye is a great opportunity to enter the wonderful world of God’s glory. They restore the whole nation practicing the laws of love and prosperity, bringing the true sense of life to nationals, helping every person to find their predestination, and be truely free from any kind of addiction.
