Has the government machine become broken against Pastor Sunday?
The information portal "Politinform" reports that the administration of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine plans to resort to Security Service of Ukraine in criminal investigation in respect of the senior pastor of the church Embassy of God, Sunday Adelaja. (http://politinform.org/node/3087).
In particular, referring to sources of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, having exhausted its own possibilities in the criminal investigation commenced against the senior pastor of the church "Embassy of God", Sunday Adelaja, under article 190 part 4 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (fraud) in appropriation of citizen funds on especially large amounts as a consequence of participation in illegal financial operations of company "Kings Capital". The Ministry of Internal Affairs initiated an appeal to the Cabinet Council of Ukraine and the President of Ukraine with a proposal to consider a question about starting a criminal case against the pastor by the Security Service of Ukraine.
More than 9 months the highest officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs repeated again and again on all television screens about apparent involvement of the senior pastor in the company "Kings Capital", about their valiant progress and headway. What now, when they still don’t have any evidence?
The actions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs always had the intention to interest the public; however in the case of Pastor Sunday these actions became similar to tragicomedy. When it became clear even for them what people have known for a long time – the groundlessness of the charges brought against Pastor Sunday and impossibility to establish this to satisfaction of the court – the whole government machine which never stopped, suddenly acknowledged that there are no chances to win.
Here the Ministry of Internal Affairs found the easy way out of the dead-end situation – to throw down this case from one authority to the other, applied for those who openly proclaim that there are no grounds for commencement of a criminal case. It is becoming more similar to Russian roulette or the game ping-pong.
Looking back, by the previous evaluation of the Chief investigative administration of the Security Service of Ukraine, there are NO GROUNDS for commencement of a criminal case according to the article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Nevertheless, having clearly understoond that there is no one ground for commencement of a criminal case against Pastor Sunday, the fact of spending budget funds for wages of hundreds of investigators over a period of nearly year and even more in the time of financial crisis must be somehow explained. So it came out, that pastor Sunday was right, as he was affirming from the very beginning that he is not responsible for the creation, activity and finances of the company "Kings Capital". What was preventing the police from receiving evidence of the credibility of these words?
Although the case is in the court, but it has turned out, due to fault of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, that the court hearing has already been put off five times. The reason is simple: the Ministry of Internal Affairs cannot give any documents that prove the guilt of pastor Sunday. It is obvious that the law enforcement personnel already themselves already see the end and understand that they will never win this case, and that’s why they try to delay everything.
In the appeal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs it is noticed that "in his sermons, S. Adelaja indicates that the creation of so called "Christian state" on the territory of Ukraine is the main task of the religious organization headed by him, and by this the evident fact of the Ukrainian statehood is ignored".
Now in his appeals the Minister of Internal Affairs forgot everything about the company "Kings Capital". Now they want to accuse the senior pastor for the wish of building a Christian state. Tell us, and what is bad about building a Christian state, in the time when the whole country speaks about this and seeks to reach this? If to reason by the same logic, let’s accuse the President of Ukraine and the Prime Minister in the prohibition of gambling businesses, smoking in public places, prostitution, human traffic, and pornography. Let’s accuse the Parliament of Ukraine in adoption of statues about the protection of public morality, about the protection of traditional family, about the care of homeless people, and the low-income people, etc.
It is obvious that by their appeals the Minister of Internal Affairs openly contradicts not only logic of sensible Ukrainians as well as politics of his direct management – the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Timoshenko. It is not a secret that at the time of the entry of her public office, Yulia Timoshenko openly announced that "Ukraine wont’ rise from its knees, if it does not stand on its knees in front of God". Should we accuse her also in the same way as pastor Sunday? What does it prevent? Are there any grounds for this? Furthermore there are a lot of witnesses, so eloquent records. Why is Mr. Lutsenko so selective in his attacks? Maybe the reasons are racist tendency and a wish for accomplishment of political order against pastor Sunday? Or do the words of Mr. Kulikov (from the same party as Lutsenko), that "it is possible to apply to pastor Sunday any statue" apply?
Also it is known that in connection with this the first Vice-Prime Minister A.Turchinov instructed deputy Minister of Cabinet Council S. Chebotar in the nearest time to organize a closed meeting on this question with the participation of officials of the Department of Justice of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the General Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, and the State Committee on Affairs of Nationalities and Religions.
It has become clear that pastor Sunday has become an employer for the representatives of the high branches of power. Otherwise, what will they do in his absence?
It is interesting, what will our law enforcement bodies invent again in their aspiration to protect us? But, protect from whom? It seems that it is time for us to protect ourselves from them.

Father in the Lord, please remember that the Island of Pathmos could not locked down heaven's revelation in John's life, so shall it be that the principalities and powers of Ukraine shall not be able to locked you out of God's revelation for the Church that is being dropped into your Spirit at this very hour. I knew nothing of this turmoil, I am so sorry! I find it very interesting that I just watched a prophetic video by John Paul Jackson called The Perfect Storm. He mentioned that the Lord showed him that Russia was going to create a new USSR and take over the Ukraine, or at least attempt to, because of the natural resources. The reason I find this connection interesting is because it would take a man like Pastor Sunday and a church like the Embassy of God to stand in the way of such horrible things occurring, therefor an agenda to defame and tear apart the church would be necessary. My prayers are with you. God is victorious!
