SOS! LAW ENFORCEMENT BODIES FIGHT AGAINST CHURCH

It is known that after company "King’s Capital" crashed the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Ukraine accused a senior pastor of "Embassy of God" Sunday Adelaja of complicity and instituted a criminal case against him under article "Fraud".

At the same time, pastor Sunday repeatedly declared that he had nothing to do with creation, activity and finances of the company "King’s Capital". However political order is the only thing that can be seen in actions of the Ministry.

Today the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Ukraine proved this fact and exhausting own resources in investigating criminal case instituted against senior pastor of the religious organization «Embassy of the Blessed Kingdom of God for All Nations», Sunday Adelaja, the Ministry initiated an address to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and President of Ukraine with suggestion to consider a question to institute a criminal case by the Security Service under Article 190 (part 4) of Criminal Code of Ukraine («Fraud») for the appropriation of money of citizens in respect of an especially gross amount by participating in lawful financial operations of "King’s Capital» company. (http://politinform.org/node/3087). It is obvious that pastor Sunday had nothing in common with fraud. All intentions of law enforcement bodies are politically colored.

The mentioned address stated that "while preaching  Sunday Adelaja said that the main task of the religious organization headed by him was to create so-called "Christian state" on territory of Ukraine, that ignores the obvious fact of the Ukrainian statehood".

It appears that  neither company "King’s Capital" nor fraud are the main reasons for putting pressure on pastor Sunday. Everything is quite clear: warnings of the Ministry to throw a crime on pastor Sunday were more than words – they were open statements of the authority to defeat a leader of the largest church in Europe.
According to previous assessment of the Chief investigation department the Service there are no grounds to institute a criminal case under Article 110 of Criminal Code of Ukraine.

It also is known that the first vice-prime Minister of Ukraine A.Turchynov charged a deputy of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Serghiy Chebotar with organizing a close meeting with participation of chiefs of the Ministry of justice of Ukraine, MFA of Ukraine, General prosecution of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, Ministry of Interior Affairs of Ukraine and State committee of Ukraine on nationalities and religions to consider the case.

Pressure of officials on law enforcement bodies of Ukraine is rather strong and even absence of grounds did not keep Cabinet of Ministers from making the Security Service of Ukraine find reasons to institute a case. Appointment of close meeting is an attempt to find something against pastor Sunday. It is obvious that pastor Sunday became a target of politicians in their fight for church electorate on the eve of elections.

New charges of the Ministry -  an attempt to «create "Christian state"» can be thrown on any pastor or church. If we do not raise our voices in defence or keep silent, then God will find the way to bring deliverance anyway.

For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this? Esther 4:14.

We ask all indifferent people and believers of any confessions and denominations whose hearts ache for freedom of religion to assess activity of Ukrainian officials and protect from political violence and repressions against pastor Sunday and church "Embassy of God".

Lessons of the world history speak louder than words. When fascists came to Germany, a German pastor, imprisoned in Nazi concentration camps Martin Nimeuller said: "At first Nazis took communists. I kept silent because I was not a communist. Then they took Jews. I kept silent because I was not a Jew. Then took members of organized labors. I kept silent because I was not a trade union member. They took Catholics, but being Protestant I kept silent again. When they took me there was nobody who could intercede for me".

Christians! Do not keep silent against crying lawlessness. Defend the church and its pastor. If now the authorities act with us in such a way they will probably do the same with you tomorrow.
