Sunday Adelaja: God, who sees the secret, knows that I am clear!

Sunday Adelaja, the Senior Pastor of the Embassy of God Church is amazed at how enthusiastic certain Christians are about spreading and commenting distorted news about Pastor Sunday opening a bank in Africa, linking this fact with today’s condition of the "King’s Capital" investment company.

This and next week the Embassy of God Church is holding an annual assize winter fast out of the city. That’s why all pastors and administrators of the church could not quickly react to this misinforming news.
According to the Embassy of God press service, the only one thing that might be said in response to such things is what the prophet Nehemiah answered to the slander spread about him and the Israel: "I am [busy] doing a great work" (Nehemiah 6:3).

In CNL press release it was also mentioned that Pastor Sunday’s photo disappeared from the web-site of GS Microfinance Bank Limited.  However, it should be noted that here in Kiev we do not even know about it! But having checked this site yesterday and today we made sure that the photo is still placed on the web-site (web-site users can see for themselves by checking the link:  http://www.gsmicrofinancebank.com/live/general/ourpeople.cfm ). There might have been some technical problems with the picture on the web-site, but we are not informed about them.

"In the light of the last mass-media press releases and hysteria, I would like to address all my friends and enemies and declare that as a minister of the Living Lord, who sees everything done in secret, I have nothing to do with the King’s Capital management, administration, and moreover finances. I declare it not only in the face of people but in the face of God, Who knows everything. Let these rumors not become the seeds of doubt in the heart of true Christians. Praise the Lord today the law enforcement agencies are dealing with all this. I’m sure that as soon as possible either they or the court will confirm my words.

This is a situation when all of us, including the Embassy of God Church, our friends, critics, and enemies are passing an exam. I would like to remind the critics and enviers Jesus’ words: "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone..." (John 8:7)

So the position of our church is the following: We forgive and bless EVERYONE! And the last but not least, I would like to repeat the words of Micah the prophet:  "Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I will arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD will be a light unto me." (Micah 7:8)
